No Homework on weekend

NO TO  HOMEWORK  ON WEEKEND

Department of Education - Memorandum No. 392   “No homework or assignments shall be given during weekends for pupils to enjoy their childhood, and spend quality time with their parents without being burdened by the thought of doing lots of homework," (for public school, Philippines)

To pounder our vocabularies “HOMEWORK” mean, a piece of work done at home. Homework is a very significant procedure in teaching in this way student are able to gain knowledge and improved their skills. Also it may teach a child from being responsible student.

According to the above description why does it seem parents are complaining on it? Is it a good practice?

These are some of the reason why parents complain

1.      Lessen the bonding time with the parents

2.      Also lessen the activities that a child must experience in his/her childhood life

In this reason teacher of public school commanded to lessen the Homework given to the student. Regarding this matter government will observe the given memorandum if it will be effective or not. To give way to the benefit of the student.

The first Strike

THE FIRST STRIKE

         Out from work and free from queries, we the Customer Care department of our Company were looking for some fun. Stress free and bonding time. As the competition of the Bowling tournament started in our company, why start our owned Bowling tournament. We called it "1st Kenneth Castelo's Bowling Cup" under the name of our Manager in charge.

THE TEAMS 

TEAM EXPRESSWAY composed of our Supervisor Rose and Luzon Team. The team was called Expressway Because of the two major road in Luzon the South Expressway that will lead you to region 4 and 5 of the Luzon area and the North Expressway the will lead you to region 1, 2, 3 and 14. We decided to have the color white as our color coding.

 TEAM RELAX, the Red team composed of Supervisor Jessie and NCR team. The most relax team of all. Play just for fun. 

Visayas Mindanao Team Called their team CHICKEN BALLS Vismin Team leaded by Mrs. Janet their team supervisor.  Yummy! Their favorite snacks to eat. Their team color is Blue.

The last team KAMOTE is a vegetable that grow under the soil. We Filipinos will say KAMOTE when we are shock or if the one who is being commanded was not able to absorb the command, also when we get zero for a score. But for them KAMOTE is lucky. After the not so successful throw, the games start. Working on their different strategies and different team the first to compete is the Expressway team versus the Kamote team. When the team Relax and team Chickenballs participant complete they also start the game. Guess who win.

AND THE WINNER ARE

          As the game finished it should have a winner who will eat a lot of pantry coz the winner take all the pantry of the loosing team, how sad it is. Express way scores 647 and Kamote got 733, team Kamote win lucky they are. For the game of Chickenballs and Relax team with score 752 and 680 respectively, Chicken balls win the game. It’s a chicken game for all the winner. Better luck next time Losers, till next game.

                Many of you not most will think of there “FAMILY”, am I right? I bet so. I will consider it as my first choice. My Father, Mother and Brother and love ones, they are like the air that I breathe, the water I drink and the moon that give me light in the darkness. Where I learned my first ABC and 123. The one who teach me to love and to be loved, to respect and be respected.

                For those who never encounter love and care for their family may be Friends will be there choice. I will not comment for the reason that I know many of us are broken family and no family since birth. Maybe we have family but we cannot experience having a good and loving family. Others considered Job, yes “JOB”. The bread and butter, the one who gives you money. Money that can by things. Can by valuable things in life. Cell phones, Laptops, iPods, dress, books and many other things.

                 Know, I know you are confused. Many things are important in our live even those small things that we are not paying attention to like air, water, trees, animals and other things that we encounter but we never pay attention to.  They give as comfort, Food to eat, dress to wear and House to live.  Every thing in this earth has its own purpose and importance. May you see the importance of every little and big things in your life.  Cherish and never let it go, for this is the most important thing in your life. And you are the care taker of it.
